Final App Design



There are more pages to the app but I have a selected few to give an overall view of how it looks. I project I was very grateful to be apart of, I have learnt so much from flat design to meeting the clients requirements.

Functionality

HTML is really becoming a pain, but I've learnt that sometimes you need to design or change your design to be more simple so that it's easy to create. That sometimes it's not all about the appearance but the functionality of it. Trust me studying Product Design functionality is something I'm aware of, however it's different because that's based on 3D objects, you know looking at the mechanisms, joints and so on. But I need to focus on the functionality of the website first, then make it look and feel how I want it to.

Cochinita Pibil

Well being Nigerian generally most of the foods I can cook is Nigerian. Since my accommodation doesn't allow blenders, because we're not adults and we're going start blending our fingers. The main foods I can cook contains rice, and too much is not good. I like to experiment, especially with different cultures, so I thought let me start cooking foods from different countries. First Mexicana I spent hours looking for what to cook then a came across Cochinita Pibil (the pork) and Sope (the pastry). When I found out you season with lemon and orange I was thinking that is going to taste weird. But it came out really nice, not like the in the picture because I didn't want to make a lot the first time in case I didn't like it.

Internship

I got lost on my way to work, getting lost is inevitable in Barcelona because all the streets look the same. When I arrived my managers welcomed me and went through the necessary procedures such as health and safety. They mentioned that for the first couple of days I will spend time getting familiar with their website  https://yclas.com  before I started with the tasks set out for me. I created an account and started to play around with each feature, knowing the in and outs of their software. I realised this was very helpful because I didn't need much supervision giving me more time to carry out my tasks, as well as making me feel more comfortable knowing what I'm doing.
